A powerful yet easily learned application for
anyone required to research survey drawings and relevant
information. The software allows easy scanning, tracking, and
mapping of survey drawings and Land Corner Recordation Certificates
(LCRCs). It is based on a powerful search engine that tightly
integrates maps which provides a seamless point-and-click geo index
to scanned historical documents, such as tract, plat, and
subdivision instruments. The system has at its core an Oracle
Relational Database designed to address field collection
requirements associated property controlling corners. The
LinkandView GIS interface automatically changes symbology used to
represent corners based on remonumentation dates in the oracle
database. This tight integration between application data and maps
allows Contract Administrators to more easily track corners through
the remonumentation process. Scan and attach field notes and
pictures to further assist employees.
